It's the most wonderful time of the year - International Noise Conference! As always, it's bigger, longer and louder than the previous year. Almost the entire Miami-based OE roster is performing in their standard and non-standard configurations throughout the fest. Dim Past is in Mexico for his birthday, so that's a fair excuse. We've even got an OE-curated stage on Friday night, featuring some soon-to-be announced additions to the roster. If you're out, come say hi!

A few months back Jatun's computer crapped out. Yes, these things happen, but the machine was an essential component of completing the long-awaited follow-up to Blanket Of Ash. So, how can you help? Well, for $3 you can get a brand new Jatun EP, with all proceeds going toward replacing the damaged machine. It's a win-win-win: EP for you now, new computer for Jatun, new Jatun album soon after. And believe us - it's worth the wait. Download Wave Effect now via Jatun's Bandcamp.

For Art Days 2014, we've teamed up with The Downtown Art House to bring you a special showcase featuring O.E. family and friends. Tonight, catch Bobby Flan, Dim Past, Fsik Huvnx (ft. Monica Camafreita), the end I Radio, and Teasure Teeth performing in the DAH parking lot. It's free and it's gonna be loud - we're using the Squelchers Sound System to turn the lot into a giant amplifier of sorts. And if you hate music, you might like beer. There will be free beer courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Although, if you hate music you're probably not reading this. If you're not in town, you can stream the whole thing live starting at 6PM EST. Look out for a tweet with the streaming URL when the whole thing goes down!

“Baja, like his other compatriots on the up-and-coming Other Electricities label, operates under the maxim that modern digital music is simply an aural Cuisinart, capable of blending anything and everything into anything and everything, reshaping genre into whatever is physically possible.“ -Squid’s Ear

“Ends of June is a genuinely terrific album, a collection of 12 heartfelt, largely acoustic, quiet bedroom pop songs that does in fact sound kinda like a cross between Low, the La's and Love, although to be fully descriptive, their name would also have to mention Belle & Sebastian, Neutral Milk Hotel and Sebadoh.” -All Music Guide

Low Low Low La La La Love Love Love

“Archival Feedback really begins to scream/speak/sing volumes about the layered and nuanced relationship people have to sounds and the place where they live... It has the air of the hyperreal about it, the atomization of the virtual, telling us we are leaving the sandy beaches and crystal waters behind.” -Redefine Magazine

"This is the sort of dialogue that many field recording artists hope to initiate in their listeners: not passive listening, but an active engagement with one's own environment." -A Closer Listen
