Dim Past and Bobby Flan embark on their Pilgrimage of Expression on January 3rd, opening the year of the horse, 2014 with their mobile Negative Rave project and tour. Dim Past, producer of marshed-out danceable hymnals by way of occult circuitries, will be joined by Bobby Flan, whose sonic and written textures flip-flop mediums and nay-say expectations. Dante Pastelitos, of the Divine Edicts, will be providing cosmosonic guidance.
Pilgrimage of Expression is an experimental, ecclesiastical travel experience consisting of performance and documentation through the praxis of Black Acid theology. Standard live shows in bars and clubs will be had, but through a power inverted Chevy Malibu, devout electronica-expressions will be unleashed in uncanny corners, dark alleys, and natural environs. Starting in Miami, Florida, the sacred trek will take them through the Bayou, Texas, Mexico, the West Coast, then back to Miami.
