We're proud to welcome one of South Florida's best experimental artists, Fsik Huvnx, to the OE family! We met David Brieske, the "spectre" behind the sounds, as he was buying a Male record at our local shop a couple years back. Turns out he was a fan of the leftfield of OE's catalog, and we eventually became huge fans of his after a jaw-dropping series of performances at the inaugural Miami Performance Festival. We chatted one night about doing a release, and at long last it's happening. Sarmoung will be out early 2014.

Miami-based underwater superhero scientists/filmmakers Coral Morphologic teamed up with local app developer/editor Dylan Romer and created a breathtaking video for Dim Past's "Spectre In Wire". The underwater scenes were filmed at Government Cut, a manmade inlet carved in 1905 which now hosts cruise and freight ships on the surface, and a universe of corals beneath. Shot partially using Google Glass and edited with Dylan's Time Piles app, the video creates a unique perspective and hyperrealistic vision of Miami's waterways.
